Our company was established in April 1982 as Fuji Co., Ltd., with the aim of selling packaging materials. In 1983, we opened our machinery division, which led to our entry into the optical functional film processing business in 1991, and the manufacturing and sales of daylight-type solar cell modules and system installation in 2000, marking our entry into the environmental business. In 2001, we established a solid position in the display device industry through the manufacturing and sales of optical filters for PDPs, which are expected to grow rapidly as the next-generation information reception interface. Our past achievements have been supported by proactive management decisions and research and development activities, successfully expanding our business with our core technology, "precision bonding technology," as our unique added value. Entering the 21st century, as global energy issues and environmental solutions are increasingly emphasized, we are pushing for further expansion of our business areas. We are engaging in marketing activities and research and development investments in various fields, such as applications of solar cells and ultra-fine processing using synchrotron radiation. As a company that addresses the most pressing challenge of coexistence with nature, which affects not only the industrial sector but the entire planet, we aim to enhance our presence in each industry we enter by more concretely expressing our management philosophy of "people, resources, and blessings."
