Business Activities
It was approved as part of the Akita Prefecture Northern Eco-Town Plan (a project for the production of secondary products utilizing coal ash and waste plastics) in February 2004. It involves mixing coal ash generated from Tohoku Electric Power's Noshiro Thermal Power Plant with waste plastics (such as PE and PP) from household container packaging and industrial waste to produce a new material called "Eco-Plush" pellets. The manufactured Eco-Plush pellets are molded into alternative products for concrete secondary products and plastic products using molding machines.
