We continue to operate as a company that can contribute to the realization of a low-carbon society.

Our company is a cement manufacturing and sales company wholly owned by Nippon Steel Corporation. Its origins trace back to 1910, when the first blast furnace cement in Japan was produced at the government-operated Yawata Steel Works. Currently, in addition to the "Cement Business," we are developing three businesses: the "SL Business," which manufactures and sells flooring materials and fillers utilizing the technology accumulated in the cement business, and the "Lime Business," which produces and sells quicklime for the steel industry. Blast furnace cement is a product that effectively utilizes by-products generated in the steelmaking process, making it a product with high resource efficiency and CO2 reduction effects, thereby reducing environmental impact. Our company will continue to operate as a business that contributes to the realization of a low-carbon society through blast furnace cement and related businesses.
