Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is a method that utilizes the reflection, refraction, and transmission phenomena of electromagnetic waves to understand underground structures. Electromagnetic waves are emitted from a surface antenna (transmitter) into the ground, and the waves reflected at boundaries with different electromagnetic properties underground are measured by an antenna (receiver). By continuously arranging the measured reflected waves, a reflection profile is created, and by interpreting the depth and extent of the reflection surfaces from this profile, the underground structure is understood. 【Features】 ■ Subsurface information is displayed on a dedicated monitor in real-time ■ Wide-area measurements can be performed in a short time ■ Efficient exploration of shallow subsurface information ■ Non-destructive exploration allows for easy underground investigation without damaging or dirtying the surface *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationAt Japan Physical Exploration Co., Ltd., we undertake "Soil and Groundwater Contamination Surveys." Depending on the situation, we use physical exploration to identify the source of contamination, the extent of contamination, and to understand the surrounding underground structures. Additionally, we simulate the spread of contamination using analysis software to anticipate and predict various scenarios. From sampling to analysis, interpretation, and remediation work, we quickly clarify the status of soil and groundwater contamination and restore it to its original condition. Please feel free to entrust us with this task. 【Features】 ■ Sampling from deep locations without disturbing soil samples using a simple boring machine ■ Immediate measurement on-site after sampling, allowing for quick identification of the target contaminant levels ■ Simulation capabilities using analysis software ■ Support for remediation work *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationAt Nippon Physical Exploration Co., Ltd., we have been offering "Underground Buried Object Magnetic Exploration" targeting underground buried objects since 1983. By conducting magnetic measurements using holes drilled by a boring machine near underground buried objects, we can identify their locations. We are capable of exploring buried objects such as retaining materials (H-beams, steel sheet piles), buried pipes (steel, reinforced concrete), and foundation piles. 【Features】 ■ Utilizing our extensive experience, we create investigation plans suitable for each site. ■ If buried pipes, tunnels, or drainage systems near the surface pose obstacles, we can also drill inclined exploration holes from positions that avoid these obstacles. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registration"Integrated Geophysical Survey" is a method that combines multiple non-destructive exploration techniques capable of continuous imaging of the underground to create different physical property cross-sections. By including topographical and geological information as well as existing data for comprehensive interpretation, it allows for the rapid and cost-effective investigation of extensive continuous underground information with high accuracy. By conducting this survey, it is possible to continuously extract the soil composition of the embankment and foundation ground in the longitudinal direction of the levee, as well as identify vulnerable areas that may pose issues related to permeability and seismic resistance, enabling a rational assessment and management of river levee safety. 【Features】 - Rapid and cost-effective investigation of extensive continuous underground information with high accuracy - Continuous extraction of vulnerable areas that may pose problems - Rational assessment and management of river levee safety - Ability to build an effective database for river management *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationBuried object surveys can accurately determine the location and depth of underground structures. For areas near the surface, magnetic surveys and ground-penetrating radar surveys are conducted, while for objects located deeper underground, investigations are carried out using boreholes. Japan Physical Exploration Co., Ltd. proposes the most suitable methods based on local conditions. 【Survey Targets】 - Steel sheet piles, H-beams, steel pipe piles, cast-in-place piles - Footings, box culverts - Buried pipes - Shield tunnels - Other foundation structures For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

Free membership registrationHazardous material exploration involves the detection of mines, bombs, shells, and similar objects, utilizing methods such as magnetic surveys and electromagnetic surveys (metal detectors, ground-penetrating radar). The exploration method varies depending on the type of hazardous material and the depth at which it is buried. At Japan Physical Exploration Co., Ltd., we contribute to preventing disasters by accurately investigating and determining the buried location, depth, and magnetic quantity of unexploded ordnance and other hazardous materials, both underwater and on land, using non-contact methods. [Types of Hazardous Materials (Bombs)] - 250 kg bombs, 1 ton bombs - Mines, depth charges - Incendiary bombs, shells, rifle bullets, poison gas shells, etc. For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

Free membership registrationIn construction work, the ground plays various roles as a material for structures, as a support foundation for structures, and in terms of stability, the influence of groundwater, and the impact on the ground environment. Since the survey results are used as reference materials for planning, design, and construction at various stages of construction work, geological surveys need to be conducted using methods selected according to the situation and purpose at each site.
