Using the casting techniques brought back from Tang by Kobo Daishi, bronze decorative fittings were supplied to temples and shrines in Kyoto. Even now, this technology is utilized to supply products to temples and shrines across the country, as well as to famous buildings such as the Imperial Palace and the Akasaka Guest House.
