We have invented a photocatalyst-containing substrate obtained by adhering photocatalyst microparticles at a rate of 1 g/m² or less using a resin binder containing shellac resin to the surface of an organic substrate selected from the group consisting of organic fibrous substrates, resin boards, resin sheets, and sheet rubber, and have obtained a patent for it.
