"Harden" enables solidification and improvement under conditions that traditional cement-based solidifying agents and quicklime could not satisfy at various civil engineering and construction sites. It expands the possibilities for improvements under challenging conditions, such as high water content clay and organic soils that have been difficult to address, improvements considering vegetation, and modifications that reduce the environmental impact on the surrounding work area. This document is a collection of case studies introducing soil improvement projects that do not use cement (excerpt version). It includes photographs along with information on "adoption history," "construction details," and "solidifying agents used." Please feel free to download and take a look. [Contents] ■ Adoption history ■ Construction location ■ Construction details ■ Solidifying agents used *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationAgro Japan's environmentally friendly soil solidification material, the "Harden Series," effectively utilizes recycled resources from industrial by-products. 【Common Concerns Regarding Soil Solidification】 - There are concerns about the leaching of harmful substances, including hexavalent chromium... - Due to site conditions, it is necessary to consider alkaline leaching (high pH)... - During solidification, excessive strength may cause issues with re-excavation... - Even if soil improvement is achieved, it may revert to a muddy state when exposed to rain or water... - Off-site transportation of improved soil may be necessary... ⇒ The Harden Series offers solidification and environmental performance that is difficult to achieve with conventional cement-based solidification materials or lime-based improvement materials! Why not reconsider your solidification materials for stable treatment? 【Benefits of Harden】 ◆ Improved soil does not leach harmful substances like hexavalent chromium ◆ Improved soil is not classified as industrial waste ◆ Does not result in high pH ◆ Does not revert to a muddy state ◆ Re-excavation is easy *For more details, please download the materials or contact us directly.

Free membership registrationAt Agro Japan Co., Ltd., we conduct indoor mixing tests. To carry out improvement work using hardening agents, it is necessary to determine the amount to be added in advance, which is why indoor mixing tests are required. We conduct these tests based on the testing methods established by the Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS), the Japan Geotechnical Society (JGS), and the Japan Cement Association (JCA), using uniaxial compressive strength tests. 【Mixing Tests】 ■ Preliminary investigation and testing of received samples, particle size analysis ■ Calculation of the amount of hardening agent to be added ■ Uniform mixing of the hardening agent and the sample ■ Creation of test specimens using molds ■ Curing in a curing chamber, demolding 2-3 days later, and further curing for the specified number of days *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a construction case of the environmentally friendly soil solidification material "Harden S," which effectively utilizes recycled resources. Due to the earthquake, dredging was carried out in the coastal areas around the island that had become shallower. Because there was no place for the dredged soil, it was unloaded onto the island. After temporary storage, it was improved and used for raising the ground level. The entire island's ground sank by about 30 cm due to the earthquake, resulting in poor drainage in the area where the dredged soil was temporarily stored. The topsoil was removed to a depth of 30 cm, and the foundation was raised by 30 cm with improved soil, after which the topsoil was returned to restore it as rice paddies. 【Construction Case】 ■ Project Name: Miyagi Prefecture Sendai Regional Promotion Office Coastal Disaster Recovery Project ■ Delivery Date: From February 2015 ■ Location: Kankazawa Island, Shiogama City, Miyagi Prefecture ■ Soil Improvement Material Used: Harden S, 5,760 tons ■ Land Condition: Sludge and muddy soil with high water content *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
