Introducing examples of surface improvement of embankments and bottom slab improvement using sediment from adjustment ponds!
We would like to introduce a case study of the environmentally friendly cement-based solidifying material "Eco Alpha." We performed surface improvement of embankments and bottom slab improvement using sediment from a retention pond. This product has expanded its applicability in various civil engineering and construction sites, from conventional cement-based solidifying materials to improvement materials for high-moisture organic soils, which were previously difficult to address, as well as improvement materials that consider vegetation, reaching areas that traditional cement could not handle. 【Case Study】 ■ Project Name: Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc. New Construction of the Kitakoumi Substation ■ Delivery Date: From May 2012 ■ Location: Fujikawa area, Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture ■ Soil Improvement Material Used: Low pH Eco Alpha DF ■ Land Condition: Pond sediment humus soil, gravelly soil, gravel-mixed clay soil *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
