• Wood Fence

A semi-fireproof wood for interior use that significantly reduces the deliquescence and efflorescence phenomena caused by the moisture absorption of fire retardant agents. ◆ Significant reduction of deliquescence and efflorescence phenomena. Compared to our conventional products, the amount of deliquescence due to moisture absorption of fire retardant agents is reduced by approximately 98% based on actual measurements of uncoated products. It has also become easier to use in areas susceptible to the effects of temperature and humidity. (Note: The products for sale are fire-retardant coated.) ◆ Shortened lead time. Compared to our conventional products, the drying time is shorter, allowing us to reduce the delivery time for made-to-order production by about 5 weeks. Additionally, due to its reduced susceptibility to temperature and humidity effects, we can also accommodate stock, enabling delivery of stocked items in as little as 2 weeks. ◆ Utilization of domestic materials. The material is domestic cedar. Since we can specify the production area, we can also contribute to the utilization of regional materials.

There are two types: "Kiko no Mado," which consists of both the shoji and frame made from thermowood, and "Kiko no Mado Hybrid," where the shoji is made from thermowood and the frame is made from aluminum. Koshi Super Thermo, which provides high dimensional stability through heat treatment using only high-temperature steam, is non-chemical. The thermo-wood technology developed in Finland has been improved to suit Japanese tree species. It is resistant to warping and decay, making it ideal for outdoor use such as exterior louvers and eaves. It is produced in our own factory, utilizing local timber and thinned wood.
