We humans have repeatedly destroyed the natural environment. If making our living environment comfortable means destroying the natural environment, it is a sad thing. I believe that only with a healthy natural environment can humans live healthily. To achieve this, we need to make efforts to minimize the environmental burden we create as humans. Without sacrificing comfort, our homes must be energy-efficient. Some architects mock highly airtight homes as "pot houses" and claim that living in overly comfortable homes weakens the body, but it is clear that improving living spaces contributes to the longevity of the Japanese people. There is no point in toughening the living environment to strengthen the body. A home is meant to protect the family from the natural environment and to live healthily. It must have a low environmental impact and be able to coexist with nature. Creating what is necessary means making something that functions for human health, contributes to energy conservation, and helps maintain a healthy natural environment. I believe that building homes solely based on preferences will only lead to a negative legacy. Our philosophy is that homes must serve people and coexist with the environment.
