This is the basic method for creating nameplates. □ Mechanical Engraving Characters are engraved using a rotating drill (cutter). Since the drill (cutter) rotates to carve the characters, it is limited to rounded Gothic type where the ends of the characters and lines are rounded. You can choose between surface engraving or reverse engraving (transparent spray-painted acrylic). This is the most cost-effective method, and mechanical engraving is generally used for producing nameplates. □ Laser Engraving Characters and shapes are engraved using a laser machine.
