Other usage examples of sky seats

[Construction Example] Heat-insulated temporary toilet, expected to maintain temperature in winter.

This is a construction case study. Originally, the Sky Sheet is used as a sky method installed on top of a corrugated roof, but in some cases, it is used differently, so we will introduce such an example. Building usage: Temporary toilet heat insulation at a construction site Construction site: Shizuoka Prefecture Product used: Thermo Barrier Sky Installation location: Two-unit temporary toilet Construction period: August 2022 Construction days: 0.5 days It was installed as a heat countermeasure for a temporary toilet at a site office with a construction period of about 8 months. Since it is a rental item, caulking was not used; instead, the overlapping parts were made larger to prevent water intrusion, and finished with glass cloth aluminum tape. In addition to heat countermeasures, we also expect benefits for winter temperatures.

Effect of cool roofs on reducing rain noise

Contributes to the protection of the roof surface! The rooftop natural energy application heat-insulating sheet reduces the sound of rain hitting metal roofs.

The data measuring the noise from rain and hail hitting the roof directly shows that rain is -7 to 9 dB, and hail is -15 to 16 dB. By using the rooftop natural force application heat insulation sheet "Chill Roof," the sound of rain hitting the metal roof is reduced when it encounters rain or hail. Additionally, standing seam roofs create shaded areas depending on the position of sunlight, which also changes the surface temperature. This results in different rates of thermal expansion on the roof, causing the fasteners and joints connecting the roof to the building to creak and produce noise. By installing our product, the entire roof is covered in shade, allowing for temperature equalization of the roof, which can suppress noise caused by thermal expansion. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Comparison of Cool Roofs with Other Heat Insulation Methods

It performs effectively without being affected by roof dirt! The insulation effect continues without decreasing.

We will introduce a comparison between our rooftop natural energy application heat insulation sheet "Hie Roof" and other heat insulation methods. While the construction area for heat insulation paint requires more than 150% of the roof area and rooftop greening methods can only be implemented with less than the roof area, our product can be applied to about 80% or less of the roof area. The construction period for 1000m2 is approximately one day for the interlocking method and about 3 to 4 days for the overlapping method, and the insulation effect continues without reduction. In the PDF materials, we provide detailed comparisons of appearance, maintenance costs, and sustainability of effects with other heat insulation methods. Please feel free to download and take a look. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

[Issues and Factory Improvement Examples] Food Factory Attic Heat Mitigation (Heat Insulation)

A case where high-performance aluminum heat insulation sheets are laid in the attic to prevent radiant heat from the sun from entering the factory.

We would like to introduce an example of heat mitigation improvements in the ceiling space of a food factory. The company faced the challenge of wanting to improve the working environment for the workers in the factory (to implement heat mitigation). To address this, they laid high-performance aluminum heat-reflective sheets in the ceiling space with the image of making the entire building a super shade, preventing radiant heat from the sun from entering the factory. As a result, we received feedback from customers saying, "I am looking forward to this summer. There is a warehouse that is hot and problematic, so I would like to implement heat mitigation measures there next." [Case Study] ■ Challenge: To improve the working environment for workers in the factory (to implement heat mitigation) ■ Measures: Laid high-performance aluminum heat-reflective sheets in the ceiling space to prevent radiant heat from the sun from entering the factory (with the image of making the entire building a super shade) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Issues and Factory Improvement Examples] Heat Mitigation Measures (Heat Shielding) for the Factory Warehouse Roof and West Wall

An example where the temperature under the roof was 51°C in the unconstructed area, and a difference of 22°C was achieved in the constructed area, which was 29°C.

We would like to introduce a case study on heat mitigation improvements for the factory warehouse roof and west wall. "There is a challenge where heat accumulates inside the building during summer, making it uncomfortable for workers, and we want to implement heat mitigation measures." To address this, we installed high-performance aluminum heat-reflective sheets on the roof and walls with the image of making the entire building extremely shaded, preventing solar radiation heat from entering the interior. As a result, the temperature under the roof in the untreated area was 51°C, while in the treated area it was 29°C, achieving a 22°C difference. [Case Study] ■ Challenge: Heat accumulates inside the building during summer, making it uncomfortable for workers (want to implement heat mitigation measures) ■ Solution: Installed high-performance aluminum heat-reflective sheets on the roof and walls to prevent solar radiation heat from entering the interior (with the image of making the entire building extremely shaded) *If the roof is high, it may be difficult to feel the effects of heat mitigation by only applying it under the roof. In this case, applying heat mitigation to the walls (especially the sunny west and south walls) will enhance the heat mitigation effect. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Heat Shielding: Examples of Heat Mitigation and Energy Saving Improvements in Kilns

Examples of heat mitigation and energy saving achieved in a firing furnace (LP gas-fired). Surface radiation temperature decreased by approximately 80°C!

We will introduce improvements in heat countermeasures and energy-saving examples for food baking furnaces. "There was a challenge to improve the hot working environment in summer and to reduce fuel consumption." In response, we applied high-temperature thermal insulation sheets to the food baking furnace. As a result, the surface radiation temperature of the furnace was reduced from 120°C to 40°C, achieving a decrease of 80°C. This reduction in radiant heat loss from the furnace surface also led to energy savings in fuel consumption. [Case Study] ■ Challenge: The surface of the paint drying furnace was at a high temperature, making it uncomfortable for workers (wanted to implement heat countermeasures). ■ Countermeasure: Installed high-performance aluminum thermal insulation sheets on the furnace surface to cut radiant heat. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Heat insulation sheet

Comfortable, economical, and a great deal! Significant energy and cost savings achieved.

The "heat-shielding sheet method" cuts 98% of the radiant heat that passes through the building. By implementing heat shielding, the perceived temperature changes significantly, making it less uncomfortable even at 30°C indoors, and during winter, it reduces the sensation of cold even at low temperatures, dramatically lowering air conditioning costs for heating and cooling systems. The heat-shielding effect is semi-permanent, and unlike heat-shielding paint or insulation paint, there is no need for repainting, which also leads to a reduction in ongoing maintenance costs. 【Examples of Installation】 ■ Factories (corrugated roofs, slate) ■ Large buildings (department stores, warehouses) ■ Facilities (kindergartens, nurseries, welfare facilities, hospitals) ■ Apartments and condominiums ■ Construction sites, temporary offices *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
