[Case Study of Biomass Boiler Introduction] Heat Supply to Foot Bath and Kitchen Hot Water at Roadside Station

Hot water supply for foot baths and kitchen hot water is being provided! Case study of biomass boiler installation.

We would like to introduce a case where a biomass boiler was installed at the Michi-no-Eki Miyoshi Village Hinanosato. To prioritize heat supply to the foot bath, supply control to the kitchen hot water is implemented while monitoring the temperature status of the thermal storage tank. When the temperature set by the sensor installed in the thermal storage tank falls below the set point, the pump stops. [Case Overview] ■ Main Equipment Supplied - KWB biomass boiler 28.6kW - Thermal storage tank 3,000L - Inverter pump - Flow control valve *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study of Biomass Boiler Introduction] Heat Supply to Hot Spring Accommodation Facilities

Heat supply for heating and hot water is being provided! Case study of biomass boiler installation.

We would like to introduce a case where a biomass boiler was installed at the Tangé Onsen Misato-kan for the purpose of heating, hot water supply, and heating in the bathing accommodation facility. The previously used kerosene heaters, electric heaters, and heat pumps have been discontinued, achieving 100% replacement with a 240kW (120×2 units) boiler. By using two boilers, flexible operation has become possible to match the load in both summer and winter. 【Case Overview】 ■ Main Equipment Supplied - KWB biomass boiler 120kW - 3,000L thermal storage tank - Inverter pump - Combined header - Heat conduction pipe (PEX) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study of Biomass Boiler Installation] Heat Supply to the Town Hall Building

Distributing the heat from the thermal storage tank through the header, circulating it for heating and cooling! An example of heat supply to the municipal office building.

This is an introduction to the case of introducing a biomass boiler for heating and cooling at the Nakanojo Town Hall and Nakanojo Town Health Center. With a 300 kW biomass boiler, the biomass coverage rate achieved is 100% for heating and over 90% for cooling. Regarding cooling, due to the characteristics of the absorption chiller, selecting equipment based on peak load results in oversized equipment. Therefore, during the summer peak, the existing absorption chiller on the town hall side is utilized as a supplement. [Case Overview] ■ Main Equipment Supplied - KWB 300 kW biomass boiler - 6,000 L thermal storage tank - Flow control valve - Combined supply and return header *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Implementation of heat supply for hot water and floor heating (winter only)! Case study of biomass boiler introduction.

We would like to introduce a case of the introduction of a biomass boiler at Nakanojo Town's Shima Seiryu no Yu and Shima Remote Medical Clinic. The 120 kW biomass boiler covers the base load, and by using an 8,000L thermal storage tank, the system can handle large loads even during peak times when the number of bath users increases, such as during the year-end and New Year holidays. Additionally, the biomass coverage rate has nearly reached 100%. 【Case Overview】 ■ Main Equipment Supplied - KWB 120 kW biomass boiler - 8,000L thermal storage tank - Inverter pump - Hot water supply module - Heating module *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study of Biomass Boiler Installation] Heat Supply to Day-Use Bathing Facilities

Heat supply for bathtub heating, heating (floor heating, air conditioning), and hot water supply! Introducing examples of bathing facilities.

We will introduce a case study of the introduction of a biomass boiler at the Uonohana Onsen Haginoyu. The 300kW biomass boiler covers the base load, and during peak times when the number of bathers increases, such as in winter or around the New Year, the system can instantaneously utilize auxiliary boilers based on the temperature conditions of the thermal storage tank, allowing it to handle large loads. Additionally, the biomass coverage rate has achieved over 95%. [Case Overview] ■ Main Equipment Supplied - KWB manufactured biomass boiler 300kW - Thermal storage tank 6,000L - Inverter pump - Hot water supply module - Heat conduction pipe (PEX) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

A must-see for design offices! Collection of biomass boiler implementation examples, featuring 14 types!

We have received great feedback for our utilization at various facilities from Hokkaido to Kyushu!

In this document, we introduce numerous case studies of biomass boiler installations. The facilities are categorized based on their types and uses, as well as the types of fuel used, and primarily include facility photos, layout diagrams, and system diagrams. Since wood fuel is a solid fuel and its shape varies by type, please also refer to the fuel transport equipment and the structure of the fuel storage (silo). [Contents] ■ I. Fuel: Wood Chips ■ II. Fuel: Wood Bark ■ III. Fuel: Firewood ■ IV. Fuel: Wood Pellets *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions

By supplying biomass fuel derived from waste, we contribute to the reduction of GHG emissions across society as a whole!

We would like to introduce our company's initiatives for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. As a specific measure, we are switching from natural gas boilers to boilers that use wood chips as fuel, thereby reducing CO2 emissions and the use of fossil fuels. Additionally, we utilize waste heat, including steam emitted from dryers, as a heat source for concentrating wastewater before it is fed back into the dryers. We also monitor electricity usage in real-time to reduce electricity consumption. 【Specific Initiatives】 ■ Biomass Boilers ■ Utilization of High-Temperature Steam ■ Power Monitoring *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Overview of Checkpoints for the Introduction of Biomass Boilers

About 80% of running costs are fuel expenses! Reducing fuel costs is a key point in evaluating business viability.

We would like to introduce our "Overview of Checkpoints for the Introduction of Biomass Boilers." Utilizing biomass heat is a business model that recovers the relatively high initial costs compared to fossil fuels with lower running costs. Since about 80% of the running costs are made up of fuel expenses, reducing fuel costs is a crucial point in evaluating the viability of the business. To achieve this, it is important to create a system with high energy efficiency that takes into account the characteristics of biomass, and to maximize the operating and substitution rates of the biomass boiler as much as possible. [Overview] - Indicators of the business viability of biomass boilers - Engineering - Evaluation of the manufacturer's technical capabilities - Manufacturer's service system *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
