We will introduce a case study of the introduction of a biomass boiler at the Uonohana Onsen Haginoyu. The 300kW biomass boiler covers the base load, and during peak times when the number of bathers increases, such as in winter or around the New Year, the system can instantaneously utilize auxiliary boilers based on the temperature conditions of the thermal storage tank, allowing it to handle large loads. Additionally, the biomass coverage rate has achieved over 95%.
