The EG ring is a construction method for reinforcing through-holes in steel beams. Compared to conventional methods using plates or sleeve pipes, it can reduce total costs. Additionally, the EG ring type Z significantly reduces the amount of welding compared to conventional reinforcement and allows for construction with even less welding than the improved NS type. Furthermore, the welding positions during construction can be vertical or horizontal, making on-site construction feasible.
