GL BARRIER (GL FILM) label

This is a barrier label made using the GL BARRIER series substrate, which features Toppan's uniquely developed world-class barrier performance and excellent environmental suitability.

The functionality of GL BARRIER remains intact, and by applying adhesive processing and labeling, it is possible to easily impart barrier performance to various packages. ■ Stable Barrier Performance It can protect contents from changes such as "drying, moisture absorption, decay, and evaporation," which are required for food, cosmetics, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. Even in high-temperature and high-humidity environments, it allows for packaging that maintains the freshness of the product, thereby extending the product's shelf life. ■ Excellent Environmental Suitability By switching from expensive high-barrier containers to single-layer containers, it is possible to enhance recycling suitability as a mono-material packaging. Using GL BARRIER labels as an alternative to substrates made from high-barrier aluminum foil allows for weight reduction. Additionally, no harmful gases such as chlorine gas are generated during incineration, and very little residue remains after incineration. ■ Transparency and Non-Conductivity GL BARRIER labels are made from transparent substrates, allowing for effective promotion without compromising the impression of the packaging. They can also be used in environments where metal detectors and microwaves are utilized.
