[Work Example] Cleaning Water Damage Tape

Cleaning of tapes affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake! A record of volunteer work.

We would like to introduce the cleaning process of miniDV tapes that we conducted. Upon disassembly, we found dry soil inside, so we first washed the case after opening it. The running surface of the tape was also cleaned manually. After wiping, there was still moisture present, so we allowed it to dry thoroughly before rewinding it to its original shape, completing the process. 【Case Overview】 ■ Work Content: Cleaning of miniDV tapes ■ Work Details - First, wash the case after opening - Clean the running surface of the tape manually - Allow to dry thoroughly before rewinding to its original shape *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
