Due to the impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake, the floor inside the store has significantly sunk! There have been cases where gaps have formed between the floor and the walls, as well as between the walls and the ceiling.

This is a case study of "disaster recovery construction" and "floor sinking correction work" conducted at a toy retail store and an electronics retail store in Fukushima Prefecture. Due to the impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake, the floor inside the toy retail store sank significantly. As a result of the floor sinking, gaps were observed between the floor and walls, as well as between the walls and ceiling. To address this, an up-con method that could be implemented during nighttime while the store was closed was adopted, and our company carried out the correction work. Additionally, since voids were also observed beneath the floor, void filling work was conducted by injecting polyurethane resin into the gaps. Here is an example of "subfloor sinking correction work" carried out at a large pachinko parlor located in Miyagi Prefecture. The large pachinko parlor suffered significant damage due to the Great East Japan Earthquake. Extensive renovation work was conducted to reopen for business as soon as possible. Sinking also occurred in the store's floor, and the Upcon method, which allows for quick corrections, was adopted. Our company implemented the floor sinking correction. Here is a case study of "settlement correction work" carried out at a large chain store in Akita Prefecture. Due to consolidation settlement, a maximum settlement of 121mm occurred. We addressed this using the Upcon method, which generates almost no noise, dust, or vibration, while paying particular attention to nighttime noise for nearby residents during the construction. The work was carried out over four nights outside of business hours.
