Atelier KOJUN
The purpose of the activity is to create work for Japanese stone masons and to pass on the craftsmanship skills to the next generation.
I would like to introduce "Atelier KOJUN." Our mission is to create jobs for Japanese stone masons and pass on traditional craftsmanship to the next generation, amidst the increasing distribution of Chinese stone materials and the significant decline in the Japanese stone industry and stone mason jobs. There are times when we face challenges, but we believe that our activities can contribute to society, and we will continue to work hard. 【Summary of Past Activities (Partial)】 ■1993: Construction of the new Great Buddha Temple gate and altar at the Iga Branch of Todai-ji Temple ■1996: Solo exhibition "First KOJUN Exhibition" at artspot Sora - Launch of Atelier KOJUN's business division - Sumiyoshi Taisha Kagari Fire Festival '96 ■1997: Restoration and dedication of lanterns at Tsuwano Hachiman Shrine, among others *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
