Azumino pine has grown over many years in Shinshu. The red pine, which accounts for about 30% of coniferous trees in Nagano Prefecture, is the only conifer that regenerates naturally and is characterized by the beauty of its natural wood grain and the fine texture of its surface. It is used in many applications, including interior materials, furniture, and structural beams that require strength. When used as interior material, the transparent reddish-brown color deepens over time, giving it a rich and tasteful appearance.
