Waterproofing method using hot melt modified asphalt emulsion "Highblown SA"
NETIS Registration Number: SK-140004-VE (High Blown Method)
"High-Brown SA" is a heat-welded modified asphalt emulsion for waterproofing construction, made from highly rigid modified asphalt. By applying it in large quantities (over 0.8 liters/m²) using a dedicated distributor on the base layer, a thick tack coat film is formed. When a porous mixture is laid on the surface, the asphalt film fills the voids beneath the porous mixture through heat welding, creating a waterproof layer that protects the base layer. After decomposition, it adheres poorly to tires, making it less likely for the tack coat to be disturbed even if construction vehicles enter, ensuring waterproofing while promoting the integration of the layered structure and preventing dirt on surrounding roads. 【Features】 ○ NETIS registration number: SK-140004-VE ○ By applying over 0.8 liters/m², it can achieve high waterproofing functionality → The permeability coefficient becomes 10⁻¹ to 10⁻² cm/s smaller compared to when not applied ○ By laying a heated mixture on the surface, it exhibits strong adhesion due to heat welding → It suppresses slipping between materials and inhibits aggregate dispersion ○ It fills cracks in existing pavement surfaces and suppresses reflection cracks For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
