Verification of the rust prevention effect of NMR pipe protector at Buckingham Palace in the UK! Iron ion levels decreased significantly from 16.6 mg/L to 0.455 mg/L.

At Buckingham Palace, galvanized steel pipes (SGP pipes) are used for the air conditioning hot water piping and hot water supply piping, and some of the piping was updated due to deterioration from red rust. However, since the majority of the piping has not been updated, "NMR Pipe Protectors" were installed in both the air conditioning hot water piping and the hot water supply piping to prevent red rust deterioration and extend the life of the piping. [NMR Pipe Protector Verification Results] St. Ignatius Church

A case where it was confirmed that the red rust inside the piping is in a good condition and not dissolving in water!

St. Ignatius Church, also known as the Catholic Kojimachi Church, is a historic church adjacent to Sophia University that has existed since before the war. Four years ago, due to the deterioration of red rust in the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping, we conducted an evaluation of the rust prevention effect of the "NMR Pipe Protector," a device designed to prevent red rust within the piping. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, we collected samples of the circulating chilled and hot water, which showed a brownish color. Water quality tests revealed a total iron concentration of 240 mg/l, indicating significant progression of red rust corrosion within the piping. After installing the NMR Pipe Protector, we conducted another water sampling test two weeks later, and the water color had become nearly transparent, with the total iron concentration due to red rust reduced to 2.7 mg/l, a substantial decrease. At the same time that the progression of red rust had stopped, the surface red rust within the chilled and hot water piping and the red rust in the water transformed into a non-soluble black rust, confirming the rust prevention effect of the NMR Pipe Protector within the chilled and hot water piping. This result was featured in an article published on July 18, 2018, in issue 2737 of "Air Conditioning Times," which reported on the verification of the rust prevention effect of the NMR Pipe Protector at St. Ignatius Church.

Verification of rust prevention effects in the air conditioning piping of the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation)! Preventing the occurrence of new red rust and converting existing red rust to black rust, demonstrating the extension of piping lifespan.

After 53 years since its construction, the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) has been experiencing serious deterioration of its cooling water piping due to the use of SGP pipes, leading to frequent leaks and significant rust issues. To prevent leaks caused by rust deterioration and to extend the lifespan of the piping, four "NMR Pipe Protectors" were installed in the cooling water systems of the Main Block Building and Stage 5 Building. In the Main Block Building, the iron concentration in the water was 5.53 mg/l before the installation of the product, but it significantly decreased to 0.048 mg/l after 32 days and further reduced to 0.06 mg/l after 57 days. In Stage 5 Building, the iron concentration in the water was 3.8 mg/l before installation, which decreased to 0.063 mg/l after 32 days and to 0.008 mg/l after 57 days. Additionally, there have been no leaks reported after the installation. Preventing red rust deterioration of the hot water piping at Windsor Castle in the UK!

The hot water supply pipes used in Windsor Castle, owned by the British royal family and with a history of 900 years, utilize SGP pipes. To prevent red rust deterioration and extend the lifespan of the pipes, an NMR Pipe Protector was installed on January 24, 2007. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content in the water in Room 107 was 3.32 mg/l, but 42 days after installation, it dropped to 0.007 mg/l. Additionally, the average iron content from two other sampling locations was 4.255 mg/l before installation, but decreased to 0.0105 mg/l after installation. This is significantly lower than the drinking water quality standard set by the UK, which is 0.2 mg/l. As a result, it has been demonstrated that the NMR Pipe Protector effectively prevents the occurrence of new red rust within the pipes and transforms existing red rust into black rust, which does not dissolve in water. By continuing to use the NMR Pipe Protector, the hot water supply pipes have completely eliminated internal red rust deterioration and, by preventing external corrosion, have become usable for as long as the building remains standing.
