At Hospital #E, which was built 30 years ago, there were concerns about leaks due to the deterioration of red rust in the air conditioning hot water piping that uses galvanized steel pipes (SGP). Therefore, a red rust prevention device called "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. Before installation, a sample of the circulating air conditioning hot water was taken, revealing that the total iron content in the water due to red rust was 360 mg/l, indicating significant corrosion of the pipes. Two weeks after the installation of the product, a sample of the air conditioning hot water showed that the total iron content in the water had significantly decreased to 0.4 mg/l.
