All-day solar radiation meter "CMP-3B"
Capture the solar energy incident on the Earth's surface and output a current proportional to the amount of sunlight!
The "CMP-3B" is a sensor that measures total solar radiation (300–2800nm). It complies with the specifications of ISO 9060's WMO Second Class. It captures solar energy incident on the Earth's surface due to direct sunlight and scattering from the sky, outputting a current proportional to the solar radiation (W/m²). Additionally, it uses a thermopile with a black coating on the sensing element, which allows for a wider measurement wavelength range compared to solar radiation sensors that use silicon photodiodes. Furthermore, the sensing element is protected by a glass dome with excellent spectral transmission characteristics against wind and rain. By attaching a cover that shields sunlight from the main body, the temperature rise of the main unit is reduced, preventing accuracy degradation due to temperature characteristics. 【Features】 ■ Measures total solar radiation ■ The main unit contains a desiccant, eliminating the need for desiccant replacement ■ The base unit has a built-in shunt resistor for sensitivity adjustment ■ Can be used in locations prone to noise from buildings, etc. ■ Built-in converter for 4–20mA current output *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
