■Twin Mirror Method and Fuzzy Processing Method The sensor is equipped with two sets of optical units and dual twin elements + twin elements (PA-IN-5605 has twin elements ×2). The area composed of this optical unit maintains an optimal positional relationship according to the alert distance, regardless of the set distance, thanks to its unique mechanical design, significantly reducing false alarms caused by small animals. Additionally, our proprietary fuzzy processing calculates detection signals with the CPU to appropriately determine whether the intruder is a person or a small animal. ■Compatible with Ceiling and Wall Installation ● You can choose a model suitable for the installation location. ● It can be installed on either the ceiling or wall (the spot alert type is exclusively for ceiling mounting). There is also a built-in attachment (BU-5600). The alert methods include three types: three-dimensional, surface, and spot types. ■Triple mirror that forms a unique area Equipped with three sets of optical units in the sensor. This is a new type of passive sensor that features twin-type elements (newly developed) in each unit. The area formed by the three sets of optical units significantly reduces false alarms and malfunctions due to its unique layout design. Additionally, the design resembles an outdoor light and incorporates internal area adjustments (movable mirrors), making it difficult to infer the direction of the area from the exterior, thus enhancing security. ■Reduction of malfunctions caused by small animals By adopting independent detection units for each mirror, signal processing reduces malfunctions caused by small animals such as cats. Furthermore, by using the pet mode (only for three-dimensional detection type), it can also cancel out medium-sized dogs (approximately 50 cm in height), allowing for operation in homes with pets. Moreover, by attaching a bird stopper to the top, it becomes difficult for birds to perch, significantly reducing unexpected malfunctions. ■Compatible with installation heights of 2.0 to 6.0 meters! It can be installed at heights that are difficult for people to reach, preventing acts of vandalism against the sensor.

■Anti-Blind Function This function detects interference applied to the front of the sensor. If an obstruction is attached to the front, it will issue a warning through the output of a trouble alarm and the illumination of a trouble indicator light. Once the obstruction or prank is removed, the output will stop, but if a trouble alarm has been triggered, please immediately check the operation of the sensor. ● As a warm-up, the trouble alarm will not be output for about 2 seconds after power is turned on. ● Transparent sprays or items with low reflectivity in the near-infrared range may not be detected. ■Wide Base Design ● By widening the base (Φ150mm) compared to conventional designs, the issue of noticeable dirt marks on the ceiling surface during sensor replacement has been resolved. ■Auto Reset Memory Function When multiple sensors are connected, it is possible to confirm which sensor triggered the alarm through the flashing and illumination of the memory indicator light (yellow) during the alert. ● The memory indicator light will flash for 3 minutes after the alarm is triggered, then continue to stay lit for 47 minutes before automatically turning off. ● This function can be disabled using the mode selector.

Passive sensor for wall and corner installation adopting fuzzy theory.

■Adoption of Fuzzy Theory The two outputs from the newly developed dual twin element are separated by the CPU into two pieces of information: the temperature difference and shape difference between the detection object and the background. Using fuzzy theory, it accurately determines whether the detection object is a human or a small animal and outputs an alarm. Even if phenomena that are likely to cause malfunctions, such as small animals (like mice), stray light, drafts, or external noise occur, the dual twin effect ensures that there is almost no impact. ■Abnormal Alarm Function While the sensor is in a standby state, the built-in program allows the sensor itself to monitor the following functions. If an anomaly is detected, it notifies of the abnormality through continuous alarm output and continuous illumination of the alarm indicator light. ●Low Power Voltage Abnormality… The newly developed CPU constantly monitors the power voltage supplied to the sensor. If the power voltage drops below a certain level, an abnormal alarm is triggered. ●Device Abnormality… In the unlikely event that damage or disconnection occurs in the circuit or connection parts inside the sensor, an abnormal alarm will also be triggered. ●Aiming Position Abnormality… After confirming the surveillance area, if the aiming device is forgotten to be returned, an abnormal alarm will be triggered.
