The "Omni Marker II" is an electronic marker ball used to mark the buried locations of utilities such as electricity, water, sanitation facilities, telephone, non-potable water, gas, and CATV. It can be easily placed up to 1.5 meters away and emits a strong signal that can be easily detected even months or years later. The peak of the signal is directly above the marker, indicating an accurate position within a few centimeters.
