Limestone, which is attracting attention as an aggregate to suppress the drying shrinkage of concrete, is also used for ironmaking processes and the neutralization treatment of factory wastewater.

Our company has opened the Yataka mining site on Mount Ibuki, where we extract limestone. The limestone from Mount Ibuki mainly consists of amorphous calcite (with a crystal grain size of less than 100μm), and depending on the mining location, the purity of CaCO₃ is over 95%.
