Lutron supported the sustainable large-scale renovation of the Empire State Building. Starting from the core of the building, engineers worked on controlling the building's load by eliminating unnecessary power consumption. Each window in the facility was updated, heat-reflective sheets were installed on the exterior walls, and a more efficient lighting design was adopted, reducing lighting power consumption from 1W/ft² (10.8W/m²) to 0.7W/ft² (7.5W/m²).
