This product is designed to be used with a combination of hooks with a special shape and loops arranged in high density.
Generally, hook-and-loop fasteners engage simply by the hooks and loops touching each other, but this product does not engage just by lightly touching the loop surface with the hook. Instead, it allows for sliding adjustments of position, and once the position is set, pressing the hook into the loop activates the engagement function.
Once engaged, the hook has a shape that makes it difficult to pull out, providing a strong engagement force.
Therefore, compared to using screws, nails, or bolts, it allows for easy fixation of objects and is increasingly being adopted in applications where simplification of production processes is desired.
It contributes to the simplification of assembly processes, such as fixing parts in automotive interiors or securing heavy wall panels.
