Construction Case: Injection Work

Injecting a solidifying agent into the voids of sandy soil! Introducing a method to improve the stability of the ground.

"Injection grouting" is a method of improving sandy soil by injecting a solidifying agent (chemical solution) into the voids of the soil to stabilize it. First, a survey is conducted to check for any obstacles, and the construction site is marked. A boring machine is set up, and while supplying drilling fluid (Chemical A and B), the drilling rod is used to inject the solution under pressure, drilling to the specified depth. In the first stage, a fast-setting type of chemical is used to fill large voids in loose sand layers and cohesive soil sections, preventing the injected material from diffusing or leaking from the injection site. In the second stage, a medium-setting to slow-setting type of chemical is used to permeate and inject into the smaller voids of sandy soil that contains a significant amount of medium to well-compacted sand layers and cohesive soil, achieving a solid consolidation of the ground. Once the specified injection amount for one stage is reached, the process moves to the next stage, and after all stages are completed, the chemical solution is replaced with water to fill the injection holes while withdrawing the rod. *For more details, please refer to the related link page or feel free to contact us.*

[Construction Example] Laundry Factory: Filling Work for Loose Ground Under Machinery Foundation

Injecting polyurethane under the foundation to eliminate ground looseness! Solved in just one day!

We would like to introduce a case of "filling work for loosening under the machine foundation and urethane filling work inside the pit" conducted at a laundry factory in Kanagawa Prefecture. Due to the loosening of the ground under the machine foundation, the dewatering machine tilted, so we performed filling work to inject urethane under the machine foundation to resolve the ground loosening. Additionally, we carried out work to fill urethane inside the pit where the dewatering machine is installed to prevent further subsidence. After the construction, we conducted a filling confirmation using a CCD camera and confirmed that the urethane was evenly filled under the machine foundation. [Case Overview] ■ Construction Area: 10m² ■ Construction Period: 1 day ■ Area: Kanagawa Prefecture *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Overview of the A&S construction method

Low cost, shortened construction period! Apply compressive force to weak ground to increase strength.

The "A&S Method" is a consolidation dewatering method that adds embankment to the ground improvement method "SKK Method," which enhances the groundwater recovery capacity. Since the ground that has been finely cavitated through vacuum vaporization experiences minimal settlement on its own, compressed air is sent to the sand layer surface using a large compressor, generating buoyancy pressure. The step-type Qin-TAKO compresses the cohesive soil directly and uniformly. By reducing the water content ratio through air blowing and subsequently applying vacuum vaporization, compression settlement is achieved through atmospheric pressure and embankment weight. The reduction in water content ratio and compression settlement leads to an increase in ground strength. 【Features】 ■ Low cost ■ Shortened construction period (approximately 3 months) ■ No restrictions on construction speed during embankment *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Case] Ground Support Strengthening Injection Work for a Pool at a Certain Embassy

Introduction of construction examples of pool ground support reinforcement injection work.

The RC pool has a length of 25m and a depth of 2m to 4m, with uneven loading. It is believed to have settled due to water leakage from the circulation piping. Additionally, the ground around the leakage area has loosened, causing the southeast corner to settle locally and deform. The plan was to perform overall support strength enhancement injection to stabilize the entire subsoil of the pool from an uneven state to a stable, uniform state, rather than partial repairs to stop further settlement. As a result, the entire structure was lifted by several millimeters, and at the same time, the deformation and inclination were repaired, allowing it to be restored to its original condition. [Case Overview] ■ Location: Tokyo ■ Building Name: 25m ■ Structure and Scale: 25m pool (H2000 to H4000) ■ Foundation Structure: Slab foundation ■ Total Restoration Weight: Approximately 650t *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Proposal for improvement technology of embankment materials utilizing construction-generated soil.

Significantly contributes to shortening construction periods and reducing costs! We have a track record of over 3 million m³ of construction nationwide.

We will introduce the "Improvement Technology for Embankment Materials Utilizing Construction Excavated Soil." Our company proposes a manufacturing technology for embankment materials through particle size improvement using construction excavated soil, which significantly contributes to shortening construction periods and reducing costs by employing a stabilizer. Additionally, by equipping the stabilizer with GNSS, operators can confirm the construction position and monitor the mixing situation in real-time. Furthermore, since the construction records are digitized, it leads to a reduction in construction management through the output of reports after completion. 【Construction Cycle】 1. Transporting soil and creating the improvement yard 2. Primary mixing 3. Adjustment (after primary mixing) 4. Secondary mixing 5. Transporting improved soil 6. Reusing construction excavated soil as embankment material *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Ground Improvement Work "Screw Press Method"

Protecting Japanese buildings from earthquake disasters! Because it's in unseen areas, assurance of seismic and environmental performance is essential.

The "Screw Press Method" is a ground improvement technique that enhances soil bearing capacity, creates earthquake-resistant ground, and is an environmentally friendly low-carbon ground improvement method. The crushed stone columns created by this method compact the entire ground through pressure, and even if shear occurs, it has little effect on strength, while also effectively attenuating seismic waves, protecting your valuable home from earthquakes. It demonstrates tremendous effectiveness in liquefaction countermeasures by strongly compacting the ground and dissipating pore water pressure through highly permeable piles. This method resolves the concerns and worries associated with traditional ground improvement work, creating a reliable foundation to support buildings. 【Features】 ■ Significant reduction in construction time and costs ■ Environmentally friendly low-carbon ground improvement method ■ Capable of forming piles from thinned wood or crushed stone columns ■ Excavation method with zero excavation residual soil ■ Crushed stone columns are strong against earthquakes and significantly reduce liquefaction phenomena *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Risks of ground improvement

There are many pitfalls in easy ground improvement and reinforcement work.

Did you know that in cases of weak ground, despite the ground reinforcement work being done, ground accidents actually occur more frequently than fires? Even if you go through the trouble of ground improvement and reinforcement work, if your house tilts due to differential settlement, it is the same as having a defective house. Because the ground, which cannot be seen, is what truly supports your home, it is essential to choose ground improvement and reinforcement work that genuinely provides support. [Examples of Ground Accidents] - Accidents with slab foundations and surface improvement - Cases where cement does not set properly - Piles not reaching the hard ground - If the thickness of soft ground and hard ground differs, the friction will also differ *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or external links, or feel free to contact us.
