Here is a case study of packaging consulting for industrial equipment parts. The key point in the proposal is that contact with the window areas is not allowed. By suggesting a storage method that opens up the four window areas, we are able to accommodate more items than originally requested in the designated box. This not only meets the customer's required specifications but also considers the storage space, allowing for an increase in the number of lots transported in a single box. Additionally, due to the fragile nature of the materials, we have selected packaging materials that take this into account. For electronic components, we also receive requests from customers such as "it must not break" and "be careful as it is fragile," so we propose cushioning materials tailored to the work. This is an introduction to a case study that achieved maximum storage efficiency by designing from scratch. The product in this case has a complex shape, and there were no specific guidelines for how to pack it other than using newspaper. As a result, not only was the loading efficiency per box poor, but there were also many instances of product defects due to scratches, leading to unnecessary tasks such as repainting. To address this, we utilized 3D simulation drawings to create a pad that offers both good loading efficiency and workability, ensuring that the products do not interfere with each other. Until now, we have introduced cases where existing storage methods were improved, but it is certainly possible to design cushioning packaging from scratch as well. Capable of withstanding up to 130 degrees! Introducing a case that achieved three times the loading efficiency through a cushioning design.

Our company provides examples of improvement proposals for existing transportation packaging and packing methods. In this case, the customer was seeking improvements in packing and packaging methods to enhance loading efficiency. Therefore, we selected HD-80 as the material. Considering workability, it can be stored by simply laying down one sheet, and it allows for packaging without contact between products. Thanks to our proposal, we were able to improve the efficiency by about three times. (12 pieces per layer × 6 layers = 72 pieces → 24 pieces per layer × 10 layers = 240 pieces) 【Benefits of Packing and Packaging Improvements】 ■ Achieved a loading efficiency of three times with a cushioning design, resulting in 24 pieces per layer × 10 layers = 240 pieces. ■ By selecting HD-80, the material can withstand heat, capable of enduring up to 130 degrees. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
