The revised edition of our quarterly report "Economic and Freight Transport Outlook" was published on October 6, 2023. This is the third and final revision for the "Outlook for Fiscal Year 2023." It is the fourth outlook issued in 2023 and will be the last one for this year. Starting from the next outlook, it will focus on the forecasts for Fiscal Year 2024, titled "Outlook for Fiscal Years 2023 and 2024." In the fourth year, 2023, starting from May 8, the classification of COVID-19 under the Infectious Diseases Control Law will transition to "Category 5," the same as seasonal influenza, and there are expectations for an acceleration and full-scale recovery to the "pre-COVID" state.
