Maximum pressure resistance, an astonishing 41.3 MPa! An innovative ball valve that can handle "super-fast opening and closing" even with a "highly adhesive seal" that does not allow hydrogen to pass through!
"Kratos," named after the Greek god of strength and power, is an innovative ball valve product developed to meet the demands of the new era that is about to begin.
Hydrogen, which is expected to be the next-generation energy source, is an extremely small atom and is the "lightest" and "most easily dispersible" gas. Because conventional seals cannot prevent leaks, existing ball valves are not suitable for hydrogen supply systems. Therefore, Omar Corporation has developed the ball valve "Kratos," which is compatible with the new era.
It features an "ultra-high adhesion seal" that does not allow hydrogen atoms to pass through, while also supporting "ultra-fast opening and closing" with an actuator. Additionally, it has an "ultra-high pressure resistance" of up to 41.3 MPa, greatly expanding its potential applications based on ideas.
The temperature resistance is standard from -50°C to 100°C, with an option to accommodate high temperatures of up to 250°C. Despite being such a high-spec product, it will be offered at the same price range as Omar's conventional products. The specifications that were previously unattainable with traditional ball valves will provide new imagination for machine development and factory/plant planning. A new era of equipment design will be brought about by Kratos.
