We provide suitable improvement proposals backed by experience and proven results! A case where scaffolding was set up on-site for construction.
We would like to introduce a case study on solving customer issues at a paper mill.
In the drying process, the surface of the dryer rolls tends to accumulate paper fibers, which can reduce drying efficiency if left attached.
To address this, we proposed a method called "Flowglass," which uses adhesive tape made from glass cloth impregnated with fluororesin.
During installation, it is essential to perform thorough surface preparation to prevent peeling, and to carefully work to ensure that no air gets trapped between the tape and the roll.
The finished work done by our experienced veteran workers has received high praise from customers.
[Issues]
- Large rolls with a width of over 2000mm and a diameter exceeding 1500mm require significant labor and costs for removal and reinstallation.
- Heat-shrink fluororesin is not available in standard sizes, making it unsuitable for this application.
