A inspection robot that can automatically avoid obstacles such as eaves and windows, addressing worker safety and labor shortages! It is also capable of close visual inspection using a camera and floating surveys using a tapping device.

This is a robot developed through joint research between Toyohashi University of Technology and Sanshin Kenzai Kogyo, designed to elevate and inspect exterior walls, with the development concept focusing on ensuring worker safety, addressing labor shortages, digitizing inspections and surveys, and securing flexibility in application through modularization. Currently, we are conducting verification tests aimed at commercialization. 【Development Concept】 ■ Ensuring worker safety ■ Addressing labor shortages ■ Reducing costs of inspections and surveys ■ Securing flexibility through modularization of inspection equipment 【Benefits of Implementation】 ■ Capable of carrying inspection equipment and using cameras and impact testers to diagnose deterioration and detachment of exterior walls ■ Enables high-altitude inspections without the use of scaffolding or gondolas ■ Eliminates concerns about dangerous work, costs, stress, and aesthetics ■ Allows inspections of bridge decks without using crane trucks for bridge inspections *This is a robot currently under joint research and development.

The chipping surface created by ultra-high-pressure water ensures a wide adhesion area due to the optimal roughness generated by water impact, providing strong bonding strength when reapplying concrete. Our chipping robot and operator have been certified with the highest evaluation "Area I" (flatness, selectivity) according to the performance classification area evaluation criteria established by the Structural Construction Management Guidelines (East, Central, and West Japan Expressway Company standards).

"Takumikurin" is a self-driving robot that performs disinfection spraying using ozone with a CT value of 60 (1ppm × 60min), which has been confirmed to inactivate the novel coronavirus. The permissible ozone concentration as a working environment standard in Japan is set at 0.1ppm. However, ozone has the property of returning to stable oxygen within a few hours and does not produce harmful residues after reaction.
