The IC-DU45 (ICDU45) is a digital simple radio license station 3B/3C/3D manufactured by Icom. It is a new model compatible with 75 channels plus 10 relay channels, increasing the total by up to 20 channels. It supports the frequency expansion announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications in 2023 for digital simple radios (DCR). It features a sub-channel PTT function that allows for one-touch selection of assigned communication partners using the main and two sub-channel PTTs. With a speaker output of 1500mW, it ensures clear audio even in noisy environments. It is Bluetooth compatible, allowing the use of Bluetooth earphone microphones, speaker microphones, and headsets. It includes a VOX function that automatically transmits audio in response to sound, enabling hands-free operation. Battery life is approximately 16.5 hours when using a high-capacity lithium-ion battery pack (2280mAh) BP-280, and about 23 minutes when using a battery case with five AA alkaline batteries (BP-312). This is based on power save mode being ON, output at 5W, and a transmission-reception-waiting ratio of 5:5:90.

The DR-DPM80 (DRDPM80) is a UHF 351MHz band digital simple radio registration station 3R/3T manufactured by Alinco. It can transmit and receive on 82 channels on land and 15 channels for aerial reception within Japanese territorial waters. The transmission output can be switched between 5W, 2W, and 1W. Compared to the previous model DR-DPM60 / DR-DPM60E, it has been reduced in size by approximately 45%, and it can also be used as a "megaphone" by connecting a commercially available horn (trumpet) speaker to the rear panel. It has an IP54 dust and water resistance rating (suitable for everyday water exposure). It can be used directly with both DC12V and DC24V, and existing DC cables can be used as is. The bracket is a slide type that is easy to attach and detach.
