"Scratch coat" refers to the process of applying a base coat to seal the surface and test for smoothness!

We would like to introduce a case of floor renovation at an automobile maintenance factory in Chiba City. Since its establishment, the floor had been used with a concrete surface, causing brake oil and other grease to accumulate on the surface along with dust, making polishing very difficult. The surface was also quite uneven, so we performed partial patching to achieve a smoother finish. After the first application, we conducted partial polishing to ensure smoothness. Since the sealing was not yet complete, we proceeded to the second scratch coat, and finally applied the finishing coat of "Eucolite MF." We applied 4 to 5 kg per square meter using a trowel to achieve a smooth finish. We received a request from a certain food factory in Inba-gun, Chiba Prefecture, and conducted the "U-Crete MF wall painting." First, we checked the situation before construction and also carried out repairs on the drainage pit this time. We set up a tent-like protective covering and completely removed the old paint film (epoxy resin with a thickness of 10mm). A total of 12 tons of debris was generated from the removal. After completing the surface preparation, we will proceed with the painting using U-Crete MF. The U-Crete MF used this time can be finished smoothly, making it suitable for the food and distribution industries. The floor has been completed using epoxy for its design emphasis! The final treatment was applied using a thick coating method!

We undertook construction at the Environmental Building of the University of Tokyo, Kashiwa Campus. For this project, we used epoxy instead of U-Crete due to design considerations. First, we completely removed the old paint film for substrate preparation and performed diamond polishing. Then, we applied a solvent-based primer as a base coat on the floor, followed by a mid-coat using solvent-free epoxy and putty. Finally, we applied a thick coating method for the top coat, completing the floor. For the walls, after surface preparation, we applied a water-based synthetic resin emulsion sealer and painted twice with an environmentally friendly synthetic resin emulsion paint. Although we used epoxy this time, we also accommodate various methods including U-Crete. Construction was carried out using "Eucrete PBM0.5"! Here is an example of how we were able to shorten the construction period.

We received a request from Nishikawa Co., Ltd. and completed the flooring at their Katsura factory in Chiba Prefecture. The Katsura factory is a seafood processing facility, and they were concerned about mold due to working in a windowless environment. Asahi Coating proposed anti-mold measures. The flooring was installed using "Eucolite PBM0.5," and the walls were similarly treated with Eucolite. Additionally, there was a sloped area within the factory, and we were also asked to level that slope. Typically, this work would take a week, but by utilizing the properties of the resin, we were able to resolve the slope in just one day, thus shortening the construction period.
