Improved elastic wave exploration service

NETIS, registered as a patent! This method allows for the overall evaluation of the embankment in a planar manner.

Our company has developed an "Improved Elastic Wave Exploration" method to quantitatively and spatially evaluate the integrity (deformation level) of mass concrete in dams, which is being utilized in sand control dams nationwide. By setting up vibration points around the dam, we analyze the elastic waves that pass through the concrete in both vertical and horizontal directions, visualizing the elastic wave velocity distribution spatially and evaluating it quantitatively. The on-site work takes about 1 to 2 days, and the analysis results are organized visually in an easily understandable manner using contours and meshes. 【Awards and Achievements】 ■ Infrastructure Maintenance Award: Excellence Award (Received in 2021) ■ NETIS Registration Number: KT-190137-A (Registered in 2019) ■ Patent Registration Number: No. 6396074 (Registered in 2018) *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Geophysical exploration technology service "Tunnel Shallow Reflection Method Exploration (SSRT)"

It is a face-forward exploration technology using the VSP processing method.

The "Shallow Seismic Reflection Survey for Tunnel (SSRT)" is a technology that uses elastic waves to predict the geology ahead of a tunnel face. It was jointly developed with Fujita Corporation for the purpose of exploring the area in front of the tunnel. Since it is possible to select artificial seismic sources (hydraulic impactors, vibrators, blasting sources) according to the conditions of the tunnel site being excavated, there are no limitations on the applicable tunnels. For example, it can also be implemented in mechanically excavated tunnels that include Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM). 【Features】 - It can be conducted outside the tunnel construction site before excavation. - Exploration is possible in hard rock formations, soft ground, tunnel entrance areas, and low cover sections. - Since exploration behind the tunnel face is also possible, it allows for a more accurate evaluation of forward exploration by comparing it with excavation results. Road surface condition survey

Efficient road management achieved through preventive maintenance! Simultaneously realizing the longevity of road assets and the optimization of maintenance costs.

Our company conducts "road surface condition surveys" using specialized small vehicles. We accurately detect fine cracks that cannot be captured by the human eye and scientifically diagnose the health of the road. This enables preventive maintenance management, leading to a reduction in lifecycle costs from a long-term perspective. Planned preventive maintenance can simultaneously achieve the longevity of road assets and the optimization of maintenance costs. 【Features】 ■ Inspection support technology performance catalog [Pavement Edition (crack rate, rut depth, IRI)] Publication No: PA010022-V0024 ■ NETIS registration number: TH-200003-A ■ 2024 Civil Engineering Research Center performance verification test (certified) ■ Using images obtained from stereo cameras, it is possible to measure road ancillary facilities, road width, and the height and dimensions of road signs. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Technical Introduction: "Detection of Special Underground Shelters Using High-Frequency CSMT Exploration Method"

Confirmed high accuracy in practical experiments compared to other exploration methods!

At Geochronology Japan Co., Ltd., we can detect special underground cavities using the "High-Frequency CSMT Exploration Method" with cavity scanners. This exploration method allows us to determine the location of cavities without setting up a grid of measurement lines by utilizing the shadow effect. This technique has made it possible to detect high-resistivity materials, which were previously considered difficult to identify, thanks to the "Near-Field Amplifier Effect." 【Features】 ○ Grasp the approximate location of cavities across a wide investigation area ○ Determine the location of cavities with high resolution → The "Near-Field Amplifier Effect" reveals what was previously invisible with existing methods ○ Achieve a high soil cover ratio (depth to cavity / height of cavity: H/d ratio) ○ High versatility ○ Registered with NETIS, Patent No. 4229371 obtained For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
