Inspection of equipment corrosion, thinning, and cracking! Evaluation of remaining life and integrity 'Static Equipment Diagnosis'

Over 40 years, approximately 5,000 inspections have been conducted on equipment both within and outside the Toray Group! By inspecting for corrosion, thinning, and cracking of equipment, we evaluate the integrity of the facilities.

In "Static Equipment Diagnosis," we evaluate the corrosion and deterioration of various equipment such as towers, heat exchangers, and piping, allowing us to identify risks of leakage and damage, as well as assess remaining lifespan. Not only do we provide measurement data, but we also offer cause estimation and recommendations for countermeasures based on our extensive knowledge gained from damage analysis and other sources. For long-distance piping where full-length inspection is difficult, we conduct economic evaluations using extreme value analysis, responding flexibly to customer requests. ■ Various non-destructive testing methods such as penetrant testing, ultrasonic testing, and magnetic particle testing ■ Inspection of confined spaces using industrial endoscopes and 360-degree cameras ■ Observation of metal microstructures using the sump method ■ Evaluation of FRP tank deterioration (jointly developed evaluation criteria with Toray) Others.

Would you like to automate the inspection of gear, pulley, and ring components using eddy current testing?

By applying eddy current testing, it is possible to inspect complex shapes such as cracks and chips at the tooth tip!

Would you like to automate the inspection of gear, pulley, and ring components using eddy current testing? In general, it is considered difficult to perform eddy current testing on workpieces with complex shapes. Our probes utilize eddy current testing, making it possible to inspect even complex shapes. Additionally, it can eliminate inconsistencies in inspections through standardized criteria set by machines. **Benefits of Eddy Current Testing:** - Reduces labor costs by automating shipping and receiving inspections - Shortens inspection time through high-speed testing - Eliminates inconsistencies in inspections through standardized criteria set by machines - Makes it easy to record inspection results due to electrical signal testing *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Leakage testing agent "Super Bubble"

Detect any leak reliably in the bubble leak test!

The leak detection agent "Super Bubble" is literally an air leak detection agent used to check for "leaks" and is employed in foam leak testing. TR-1 can be used as is, while TR-1C (concentrate) should be diluted 10 times with water before being applied to the test area. By applying pressure (or reducing pressure), if there is a leak, it will foam, making it easy to identify the location and extent of the leak. For more details, please download the catalog.

Non-destructive testing: Investigation of concrete structures

[Confident in our technical skills] Leave the deterioration diagnosis, full-scale surveys, reinforcement studies, and seismic assessments of existing civil engineering structures to us. We also accept individual surveys.

We will investigate the deterioration of concrete structures (such as bridges and buildings), which are social capital, and create data for repair plans. When implementing seismic reinforcement work on structures like bridge piers, we will conduct preliminary rebar surveys and facilitate the smooth progress of the construction. 【Individual Surveys】 - Measurement of crack depth using ultrasound (bridge piers) - Data on crack depth using ultrasound - Investigation of internal defects in concrete using X-ray imaging (deck slabs of elevated bridges) - Measurement of concrete thickness using ultrasound - Investigation of internal defects in concrete using ultrasound - Measurement of sound velocity in concrete using ultrasound, etc. *For details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.

Non-destructive testing "Ultrasonic Testing (UT)"

Confident in our technical skills, we play a role in ensuring safety and reliability through non-destructive testing. Trust the professionals who hold numerous technical qualifications.

Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement Ultrasonic thickness measurement is a method of measuring the thickness of an object from one side using ultrasonic waves. It is typically measured with a specialized device called an ultrasonic thickness gauge. Ultrasonic waves are sent from the measurement surface of the object, and the time taken for the reflection from the back surface to return is measured and converted into thickness. A sensor called a transducer (probe) is used to transmit and receive the ultrasonic waves. ◎ Implementation of Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement Ultrasonic thickness measurement is conducted in accordance with the standard "Thickness Measurement Method Using Ultrasonic Pulse Reflection" (JIS Z 2355). Additionally, the standard states that "the person conducting the measurement must have the necessary qualifications or equivalent sufficient knowledge, skills, and experience." The "necessary qualifications" referred to here typically means a qualified ultrasonic inspector certified by the Japan Non-Destructive Testing Association. *For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.

Non-destructive testing "Concrete X-ray inspection"

X-ray inspection that can detect electric wires, gas pipes, and other buried objects inside concrete! Prevents damage to buried utilities in advance.

"Concrete X-ray inspection" is a method to confirm embedded objects such as rebar, electrical wires, and gas pipes within concrete using X-ray images. In renovation work for buildings that are over ten years old and in seismic reinforcement work for structures, it is common to drill holes in the concrete. This method can prevent damage to embedded objects like electrical wires and gas pipes within the concrete. Just like taking an X-ray of the chest, X-ray images of concrete floors and walls are taken to check the condition inside the concrete using film. [Features] - X-ray inspection - Prevention of damage to embedded objects - Visibility of the interior of concrete - Confirmation possible with X-ray images *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Introduction to Contracted Services for Helium Leak Testing in Air Tightness Testing

[Leak Test] Pressure vessels, vacuum chambers, piping units, etc., can detect minute leaks and identify defective (leak) locations!

The airtightness test "Helium Leak Test" is one of the non-destructive inspections that is considered important not only in Japan but also in various countries around the world, including Europe and the United States. There are various testing methods depending on the purpose, such as quantifying the amount of leakage by pressurizing the product with vacuum or helium gas, and identifying leak points from invisible cracks. Ultimately, this also helps prevent leakage accidents. In this article, we will introduce the challenges faced by our customers and the solutions. ■Challenges Due to phenomena such as the building's air conditioning (absorption chiller) not heating or cooling properly, urgent action is required from the supplying manufacturer. ■Solutions We conducted a leak test after vacuuming the piping using the airtightness test "Helium Leak Test" to identify the leak points. The manufacturer repaired the identified areas, and we conducted a re-inspection of the repaired areas to confirm that there were no leaks. *For more details, please contact us or refer to the PDF.
