The birth of Super Lock was triggered by hearing the agonizing voices of sheet metal workers (craftsmen). Until now, they had been adjusting about 80 to 100 pieces of hardware per house, all with screws, which caused hand pain and took a lot of time. Additionally, during electrical work, when ladders were placed on the roof, there were instances where the eaves would become misaligned. After the meeting, we immediately took the information back to our company and began production preparations. All products were custom-made with specified dimensions, and since they were exterior parts, we proceeded with production while presenting samples to the customer several times. As a result, we were able to deliver the products with precision according to the drawings and within a short lead time, contributing to the electrical installation company's reduction in delivery time. We received a sudden request from a PVC manufacturer saying, "We would like to change the specifications from half-round gutters to internal-hung square gutters, so could you manufacture new gutter brackets to accommodate this?" While square gutters are now mainstream, there was no certainty at that time that they would become widespread. Nevertheless, we quickly began collaborating with the PVC manufacturer to start producing brackets for square gutters. Designing the gutter brackets to match the shape of the eaves resulted in around 36 different part numbers, all of which we accommodated. Furthermore, during the specification changes, we proposed additional value enhancements such as improved aesthetics, durability, and workability. Until now, there have been issues such as difficulty in installation and extended construction time due to the need for anchors and foundation work, depending on the site conditions. Therefore, there was a request for OEM development of solar mounting support hardware that eliminates the need for foundation work if anchors are used or if the area is paved. In developing the OEM product, we visited the construction site multiple times and thoroughly reviewed the shape of the hardware. We collaborated on the development by investigating other companies' patents and assisting with strength testing. As a result, by using the OEM product, the construction time was reduced to one-tenth of what it was before, and solar panels can now be installed even in site conditions where it was previously impossible. In May 2014, our hardware was used in the upper structure work of the right Aizukawa Bridge on the Kisei Line. Initially, the request was to renew the metalwork while keeping its original shape. However, as we progressed with the meetings, we responded to the customer's requests by changing from a half-round gutter to a square gutter. Additionally, during the construction, there were obstacles due to the fact that it is an Important Cultural Property, such as not being able to drill holes in the structure where the installation was to take place, but we were able to clear these challenges successfully.
