Porous glass that allows gases to pass through.

Nano-sized holes allow gases to pass through, and separation is possible by utilizing adsorption. It is effective in separation and catalysis.

Our company has over 40 years of experience in the manufacturing of "porous glass," which has the property of allowing gases to pass through, and it is used both domestically and internationally. The pore diameter ranges from 4 to 70 nm, making it suitable for applications such as separation filters and catalyst supports, and it is possible to adjust the pore size to selectively separate specific substances. (Pore sizes larger than 70 nm can also be discussed.) [Application Examples] ■ Partial porosity (porous glass can be applied to only certain areas) ■ Superfluid film flow containers (making the outer surface of glass porous) ■ Porous glass coated with graphene (providing conductivity while maintaining breathability) *We can accommodate various other needs, so please feel free to contact us.

Crystallized glass

Hardened and made opaque by heat treatment! Crystallized glass with enhanced chemical durability and thermal properties.

"Crystallized glass" is obtained by re-heating glass and keeping it at a temperature above the liquid phase for an extended period, allowing its main components to precipitate as crystals. In most cases, it becomes opaque. By precipitating crystals, chemical durability and thermal properties can be enhanced. Many products take advantage of this feature, with one application being artificial marble. [Features] - Re-heating treatment of glass - Hardening and opacification - Increased chemical durability and thermal properties - Applicable to products like artificial marble For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Chemically strengthened glass

The strength of chemically strengthened glass increases several times! Material glass using high-strength ion exchange method.

Our chemically strengthened glass is a product of Akagawa Hard Glass Industry Co., Ltd., which consistently performs raw material formulation, melting, and molding. There are two methods for strengthening glass: air-cooled strengthening and ion exchange. We supply the ion exchange method's raw glass. The ion exchange method can strengthen even thin materials and has the characteristic of minimal shape change after strengthening. We also accommodate small lots, so please feel free to consult us. 【Features】 ■ Ion exchange method ■ High strength ■ Accommodates small lots *For more details, please contact us.

Graphene-coated porous glass

Improved alkali resistance! Porous glass coated with graphene film.

"Porous glass coated with graphene" is a porous glass that has been silylated on its surface and then carbon-coated using heated organic gas (chemical vapor deposition method; CVD). Using this method, the pore surfaces of the porous glass can be completely covered with a graphene film. In the case of a flat sample, a continuous graphene film is formed from the outer surface to the interior, allowing electricity to flow between the top and bottom surfaces of the glass plate. Additionally, the graphene film is thin, and the pore holes remain intact, so the top and bottom surfaces of the glass plate maintain breathability. [Features] - Improved alkali resistance - Conductivity is imparted - Retains the original pore structure of the nanoporous glass - Excellent chemical resistance - Porous electrode material *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
