■Metallic ND Filter ・Optical density is obtained by depositing a metal alloy on a substrate selected for the desired wavelength range. ■Absorptive ND Filter ・Manufactured using Schott NG glass, it strictly relies on the glass's absorption effect to achieve the desired attenuation level. *These ND filters are also available for sale as a set. *The set is provided with a storage wooden box.

The edge filter is referred to as a long wave pass filter (LWP) / short wave pass filter (SWP).

■Used for separating the wavelength bands that transmit and reflect at specific wavelengths. ■These edge filters shift the edge wavelength bands slightly depending on the angle of incidence, allowing for the adjustment of the cutoff wavelength by utilizing this principle.

Dichroic Filter

Dichroic filters (color separation filters) are used in many applications that require the isolation of a range of visible light.

- More general applications include color enlargers and copiers as optical balance filters. - Applications that may benefit from separating incident energy from two or more light beams could be desirable. - The spectral curves below are displayed at a normal incident angle, but in many applications that combine colors, it is preferable to use them in reflection mode at an incident angle of 45°. - The stringent manufacturing of these filters uses durable insulating films that show no degradation over years of use. - They are characterized by being very stable, with very little loss of efficiency over time.
