Liquid Crystal Polyester Fiber (LCP Fiber) "Siberas(R)"

High intensity, high elasticity, low elongation, low water absorption, low creep, bending fatigue resistance, vibration damping, strong retention rate, flame retardancy, heat resistance, insulation, abrasion resistance, metal alternative, lightweight.

"Shiberasu(R)" is a super fiber made of liquid crystal polyester (LCP) that exhibits special strength comparable to that of metal wires and chains. While possessing high strength, it also features the unique "lightness" characteristic of liquid crystal polymer fibers. Even when used underwater, it does not absorb moisture, nor does it change dimensions or become heavier. When compared in terms of strength per weight, it reaches approximately 35 times the strength of metal materials such as wires and chains. It is particularly adopted as a metal alternative in marine environments, including in the fields of shipping, energy, offshore wind power generation, and fisheries. 【Features】 ■ Special strength comparable to metal wires and chains (about 35 times the strength of metal materials) ■ Combines the lightness unique to liquid crystal polymer fibers ■ Does not absorb water ■ Unlike metal wires and chains, there is no risk of rust or deterioration ■ Customizable to meet customer needs ■ Expected to reduce workload due to weight ■ Less likely to tangle and twist compared to wires and chains ■ Environmentally friendly and clean, as it does not require grease unlike metal wires and chains *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

What is "ShuCODE," the basic knowledge of fibers?

Unlike Mizuhiki, you can create your favorite small items such as chopstick rests and coasters freely and easily!

"Shucode" is a special cord made from a new material that can be used like mizuhiki and retains its shape. It is resistant to sweat and water, so unlike traditional mizuhiki, it can be used for wet applications such as hair accessories and umbrella markers. It does not fade and retains its shape, allowing you to redo your knots as many times as needed without the risk of failure, just like with mizuhiki crafts. *For more detailed information, please refer to the related links. Feel free to contact us for further inquiries.

Basic Knowledge of Fibers: "Handling of Woven Rubber"

Introducing precautions for handling woven rubber, such as when it has holes or is being stretched!

It seems that some customers occasionally use woven rubber by making holes in it. This is a very dangerous usage method that can lead to complaints due to the structure of the woven rubber. The structure of woven rubber consists of threads and rubber threads running vertically, with horizontal threads woven in by crossing them up and down. Therefore, woven rubber stretches in the vertical direction but does not stretch in the horizontal direction. Making a hole in the woven rubber means cutting the rubber threads that run vertically, so when you pull the rubber after making a hole, the rubber threads can slip out, causing it to ripple or stop stretching. Please be careful with any processing methods that cut the rubber threads. *For more detailed information, you can view it through the related links. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Basic Knowledge of Fibers: "Quality of Rubber Bands [Wearing Comfort]"

What is the quality of rubber bands? The important factors are "durability" and "wearing comfort."

One more important aspect of the quality of elastic bands is what I consider to be "wearing comfort." For example, have you ever experienced the following situations? "The waistband of my underwear is too tight and digs into my waist, causing pain." "Even though my underwear is still new, the waistband is loose and keeps slipping down." "I find it comfortable for some reason, so I end up wearing the same underwear all the time." "Even though it's new, there are some underwear I tend to avoid wearing." "I unconsciously end up buying underwear from the same brand." I believe these situations arise because we are subconsciously aware of wearing comfort. Of course, it's not just an issue with the elastic; there are various factors such as design, material, and sewing methods that play a role, but the elastic component is also very important. *You can view more detailed content of the article through the related links. Business Introduction: What is "Carbon Composite"?

Carbon fiber is a living material that supports future industries and is friendly to both people and the environment.

Carbon composite (CFRP) is a composite material made of carbon fibers and resin (such as epoxy or phenol) that is much stronger and lighter than metal materials (such as steel or aluminum). Additionally, by combining various materials such as fiber direction, the number of fiber laminates, high-strength fibers, aramid fibers, and honeycomb cores (aluminum or Nomex), it achieves even higher rigidity. Its characteristics include excellent properties such as X-ray transparency, dimensional stability, vibration damping, chemical resistance, and electromagnetic shielding. Due to these properties, the range of future applications is expected to expand further. ● For more details, please download the catalog or contact us.

Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award: "CNT Coating Conductive Fiber"

This is an introduction to the products that received the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award at the 4th Monozukuri Japan Grand Award.

CNT-coated conductive fibers can be produced with electrical resistance values ranging from 10^3 to 10^10 Ω/cm. Each level of fiber has a stable electrical resistance value in the direction of the fiber length. The surface of each single fiber is fully coated with carbon nanotubes, forming a network that exhibits good contact conductivity. Even during stretching deformation, there is little change in electrical resistance value, demonstrating high durability. Since polyester multifilament processed yarn is used as the base material, it excels in bending fatigue compared to carbon fiber wires and metal wires, achieving a soft texture. It also realizes significant weight reduction and compactness compared to metal wires. For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.

Non-combustible, flame-retardant, and fire-resistant materials and JIS testing.

"Non-combustible" and "flame-retardant" are not the same as "fireproof certification." We will introduce the tests and certification details.

Both "non-combustible" and "flame-retardant" are not certifications of "non-flammability," and if the selection is not appropriate for the intended use, there is a possibility of a major accident. Non-combustible certification refers to certification for "building materials = construction materials (such as wood, glass, concrete, etc.)," and it does not guarantee "non-flammability." When selecting sheets, it is important to consider not only the results of tests but also the specifications, so we recommend verifying with sample fabrics in the actual environment. 【Certification and Testing Details】 ■ Non-combustible Certification - Certification for building materials = construction materials (such as wood, glass, concrete, etc.) ■ Disaster Prevention Performance Test - Targets construction materials for large buildings, underground shopping areas, curtains and bedding in public places, construction sheets, etc. ■ JIS A1323 Test - A test that receives sparks generated from welding or cutting. *For more details, please refer to the external link page or feel free to contact us.

About insulation, heat shielding, heat resistance, and fire resistance.

It's important to understand the purpose of use! Introducing applications for insulation, heat shielding, heat resistance, and fire resistance.

Just because a material is heat-resistant doesn't mean you can expect it to have insulating properties. For example, metals like aluminum are excellent in heat resistance and fire resistance, but they don't provide much in terms of insulation. Conversely, there are materials like polystyrene foam that excel in insulation but are weak against high temperatures and flames. When selecting sheets, it is important to consider the intended purpose of use. 【Features】 ■ Insulation: Slows down the transfer of heat ■ Heat shielding: Reflects radiant heat to block it ■ Heat resistance: Maintains shape at high temperatures ■ Fire resistance: Durable against flames *For more details, please refer to the external link page or feel free to contact us.
