Telework and workplace environment improvements! We will focus on people with disabilities within the context of diversity.
Diversity refers to the concept of accepting differences in race, gender, preferences, values, beliefs, and more, and striving to realize the potential of diverse human resources.
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry defines diversity management as "management that creates innovation and leads to value creation by utilizing diverse human resources and providing opportunities for their abilities to be maximally demonstrated." It states that "the active participation of diverse human resources is essential for the sustainable growth of the Japanese economy, as it helps secure talent in the context of a declining birthrate and aging population, and enhances the ability to respond to diversifying market needs and risks."
"Diverse human resources" include not only gender, age, race, nationality, disability status, sexual orientation, religion and beliefs, and values, but also diversity related to career, experience, and work styles.
