The sound adjustment has been successfully completed! The completion of a secret base that feels like an adult hideaway, without the sense of a long and narrow space.
The exterior looks like a container for transporting goods, but inside, it is a soundproof room where a full band can perform.
We would like to introduce a case study of such a construction project.
The client is a big band enthusiast and a guitarist who enjoys jamming and recording with bandmates without worrying about time, creating a special space for themselves.
We used a second-hand container. Given the site and transportation considerations, it was challenging to install a full 40-foot container, so we split it into two 20-foot sections for transport by truck. It was then assembled on-site with a large forklift, and welding was done at the site, followed by painting repairs on the welded sections. The container was painted in a specified color at a yard in Nagoya.
Additionally, since the client wanted to enjoy movies and music on a large screen while creating a soundproof studio, we used wallpaper made of material that could serve as a screen for the walls.
