[Proposal Example] I want to improve the packaging workability of long items.

The packaging has been changed so that the cardboard boxes are completed simultaneously! This has achieved a reduction in packaging time!

The customer was troubled because the products to be packaged were large and long, which required larger cardboard boxes, and the preparation work before packaging also took a lot of time. In response, our company proposed a cardboard case that improves work efficiency by matching the shape of the product, allowing for the simultaneous assembly of the cardboard and product packaging. By changing the process so that the cardboard case is completed at the same time as the packaging, we were able to achieve "reduction in packaging time" and "cost reduction of cardboard cases." 【Case Overview】 <Problems> ■ The products to be packaged are large and long, resulting in large cardboard boxes. ■ Preparation work before packaging is also taking time. <Suggestions> ■ Adjust the shape of the product to allow for simultaneous assembly of the cardboard and product packaging. ■ Propose a cardboard case that improves work efficiency. *For more details, please refer to the related link page or feel free to contact us.

[Proposal Example] I would like to change the wooden box to a cardboard case.

Reduced workload! A case where the taping of the bottom was omitted to improve the efficiency of box packing!

The customer was using wooden boxes for packaging indoors, and the packing personnel were either women or elderly individuals, facing the issues of wanting to improve the efficiency of the packing process and that the wooden boxes were too heavy for female workers to handle. In response, our company proposed using lightweight cardboard, taking advantage of the indoor work environment. This not only reduced the workload but also allowed for space-saving through flat storage management. 【Case Summary】 ■ Issues: Wanting to improve the efficiency of the packing process; wooden boxes are too heavy for female workers to handle. ■ Proposal: Suggested lightweight cardboard, leveraging the advantage of indoor work. ■ Effects: Reduced workload and achieved space-saving through flat storage management. *For more details, please refer to the related link page or feel free to contact us.

[Proposal Example] Simplification of case assembly, introduction of bottom lock and Amerock.

To improve the efficiency of the packing process, we have omitted taping the bottom! We are receiving great feedback!

In the most commonly used A-style cases, it is essential to secure the bottom with tape or glue before packing the boxes. Without a bottom, everything would fall out. If you are engaged in a job that involves packing a large number of boxes daily, the task of securing the bottom alone can be a significant burden. To alleviate this task, there are methods for processing the bottom known as bottom lock or American lock. The finished boxes can be secured without the use of tape or glue, greatly improving the efficiency of the packing process. Our customers who pack large quantities of boxes are very pleased with this. [Case Summary] ■ Problem: A-style cases require tape or glue to secure the bottom. ■ Proposal: Processing methods for the bottom known as bottom lock or American lock. ■ Effects: - Can be secured without using tape or glue. - Significantly improves the efficiency of the packing process. *For more details, please refer to the related link page or feel free to contact us.

[Example Proposal] Improvement of Work Efficiency When Purchasing Cardboard (Responding to Urgent Orders)

A response unique to a cardboard box manufacturer! Collaboration between the order management office, manufacturing site, and transportation department.

We would like to introduce a case that solved the concerns of customers who are troubled by urgent orders and changes. Customers reach out to us every day with inquiries about urgent products, such as "I want to change the dimensions of an urgent product," "I want to change the quantity of a product with a near delivery date," "I want to expedite the delivery," and "I suddenly need more products and want them immediately." Our company has the capability to manufacture cardboard sheets from cardboard base paper, known as "corrugated," and we have all the necessary machinery for printing, allowing us to handle urgent orders. Additionally, we ensure quick coordination from the order management desk to the manufacturing site and transportation department. [Overview] ■ Issues - Urgent orders and changes ■ Proposals - Quick response to changes in product dimensions and quantities - Short lead time manufacturing of cardboard sheets and cardboard cases - Quick coordination from the order management desk to the manufacturing site and transportation department *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Proposal Example] Reducing Processing Load for Ultra-Compact Cases to Shorten Delivery Time and Cut Costs

Improved productivity with a model suited for mechanization and high-speed operation! A case where the delivery time was shortened by one day.

We would like to introduce a case where we solved the challenge of "wanting to shorten the delivery time for ultra-small cases" through our proposal. Boxes that are too small are often made by hand, which takes time for manufacturing. The semi-A type involves individual tasks such as cutting cardboard sheets into smaller sizes, making incisions, and gluing, all of which were done manually, resulting in longer production times. To address this, we manufactured the semi-A type boxes as A-type cases using machines, with the body parts aligned to a larger size, and then cut the finished product in the middle. The A-type is a format suited for mechanization and high-speed production, resulting in a significant increase in productivity. 【Overview】 ■ Challenge - Boxes that are too small are often made by hand, leading to longer manufacturing times. - All individual tasks were performed manually. ■ Result - By manufacturing as A-type cases and cutting in the middle, we converted the semi-A type boxes. - The cardboard sheets, now twice the size, can be directly fed into the machine without the need for cutting. - Delivery time was shortened by one day. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Proposal Example] From Styrofoam Packaging to Cardboard Cases

Introducing a case where a change from expanded polystyrene packaging specifications to cardboard packaging specifications was proposed!

Currently, we are using expanded polystyrene for packaging, but we are struggling to secure inventory space. We have received inquiries about finding a good method to reduce inventory space. We proposed changing the packaging specification from expanded polystyrene to cardboard. With the current expanded polystyrene packaging, we have to store a large amount of finished expanded polystyrene, which takes up a tremendous amount of space. However, by suggesting the features of cardboard packaging (foldability), we were able to manage it in a flat position, allowing for more efficient use of space. [Overview] ■ Issues - We are using expanded polystyrene for packaging, but it is difficult to secure inventory space. - If we increase the number of product items, the initial investment for expanded polystyrene packaging can cost several million yen. ■ Results - We were able to manage it in a flat position, allowing for more efficient use of space. - It became easy to increase various shapes of packaging materials at a cost of tens of thousands of yen. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Proposal Example] Cardboard box that makes it easy to package difficult-to-package products.

Reducing the burden of lifting work! We will introduce examples of better proposals by understanding our customers' packaging sites!

When the products to be placed in the cardboard box are heavy, lifting and packaging them becomes very labor-intensive, and customers were struggling with potential back pain. In response, our company changed to a "wrap-around" type of cardboard box. By reducing the burden of lifting, we freed workers from heavy labor, improved work efficiency, and enabled the assembly of the cardboard and packaging of the products to be done simultaneously, thus shortening the packaging time. 【Case Summary】 <Problems> ■ Lifting and packaging products is very labor-intensive ■ Customers were struggling with potential back pain <Suggestions> ■ Change to a "wrap-around" type of cardboard box ■ Switch to a process where the product is placed on top of the cardboard box and wrapped directly *For more details, please refer to the related link page or feel free to contact us.

[Proposal Example] We want to reduce the types of cardboard and decrease inventory space 01.

Improvement proposal for the customer's site! The cardboard stock will be reduced to one type per product, resulting in decreased inventory.

We would like to introduce a case that responds to the request from Company A, which is engaged in the wholesale and mail order of health foods. Depending on the number of products shipped, we used three types of cardboard boxes: a small box for 2 items, a medium box for 4 items, and a large box for 6 items. Therefore, we proposed a common case. We added two creases to the body of the cardboard, allowing the height of the box to be adjusted in three stages. Now, there is only one type of cardboard box in stock for each product, which has reduced inventory. [Challenges] - The cardboard box inventory is taking up space in the warehouse, causing issues. - There is a shortage of cardboard boxes due to sudden orders. - We want to reduce the variety of cardboard boxes. - We want to decrease the inventory space. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Proposal Example] Reduce the types of cardboard and decrease inventory space 02

Standardizing three types of cases into one! A case study that solved product management and inventory space issues.

We would like to introduce a case that solved the issue of wanting to reduce the number of types of cardboard boxes and decrease inventory space. Currently, there are three types of cases (large 10-pack, medium 16-pack, small 36-pack) with the same box dimensions but slightly different printing surfaces within the series products, and orders were placed uniformly for each type. However, there were problems with product management and inventory space. By using printed check items on a single type of case, we were able to standardize and simplify case management for the three types. This reduced inventory space and also saved costs on rubber plates during revisions. 【Overview】 ■ Issues - There are three types of cases with slightly different printing surfaces. - We want to reduce the number of types of cardboard boxes and decrease inventory space. - There were problems with product management and inventory space. ■ Results - Printed check items on a single type of case. - Standardization and simplification of case management for three types. - Reduced inventory space. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Proposal Example] I want to change the shape of the cardboard.

Packaging boxes that consider the environment! Changing the shape from wire-tied to a slipcase and wrap-around style.

We would like to introduce a case that solved the issue of wanting to change the shape of cardboard boxes. Currently, we are using B-type (wire-bound) cases, which require a large storage space for cardboard box inventory. Additionally, the current joining method using wire is not environmentally friendly, and we were consulted about the possibility of changing the shape of the cardboard. By switching to a die-cut box that does not use wire, it became possible to deliver in a single sheet state. This also reduced the client's inventory space and resulted in an environmentally friendly packaging box. [Overview] ■ Issues - Large storage space required for cardboard box inventory - Joining method is wire-bound and not environmentally friendly ■ Results - Changed to B-type (die-cut and wrap-around type) shape - Possible to deliver in a single sheet state - Reduction in inventory space *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
