[Development Case] Multi-Band Antenna

We will introduce a case that achieved low VSWR over a wide bandwidth in the high frequency band.

We would like to introduce a case where we developed a "multi-band antenna." In the frequency range of 300 MHz to 6 GHz, we divided it into 5 bands as needed, achieving vertical polarization with omnidirectionality in the horizontal plane and a VSWR of less than 3.5 for each band. As a solution, we used a shortened dipole antenna element for the low-frequency band and a biconical antenna element for the high-frequency band, allowing us to share a single input terminal through a central feeding hybrid configuration. [Development Case] Portable ARC

We will introduce a case where a larger RCS was secured than that of a movable corner reflector.

We would like to introduce a case study of the development of our "Portable ARC." As background, radars mounted on satellites and aircraft require adjustments using ARC, and since satellites and aircraft do not remain in a fixed location, there was a demand for a portable ARC that allows for easy movement and high flexibility in radar adjustments. As a solution, we made it possible to transport the system using a small truck by structuring it into separate components: antenna unit, electronic equipment unit, control unit, and digital receiver unit. [Development Case] Antenna for Ultra-Small Satellites

Introducing a case where a Ka-band antenna was successfully reduced to a weight of less than 35g.

We would like to introduce a case where we developed an "ultra-small satellite-mounted antenna." We received a request to develop an ultra-small antenna for use in a 6U-sized CubeSat, with the background of wanting to further miniaturize the X-band antenna developed for the small satellites "Hodoyoshi" and "Procyon" to be mounted on a 6U-sized ultra-small satellite. As a solution, for the X-band antenna, we innovated the shape and structure of the antenna itself to control directivity and gain, while for the Ka-band antenna, we incorporated material selection and structural innovations to achieve both strength and electrical performance.
