Lead-free copper alloy "Eco Brass" - Responding to environmental regulations!

Lead-free and cadmium-free copper alloys that comply with regulations on the content of substances such as lead and cadmium! They can also be used as an alternative to stainless steel, leveraging their second characteristic of strength.

"Ecobras" is a lead-free copper alloy that does not use lead. It is a groundbreaking high-performance material that serves as an alternative to conventional lead-containing free-cutting brass, while simultaneously solving issues related to stress corrosion cracking and dezincification. ● Excellent machinability In conventional free-cutting brass (C3604), lead within the metal structure improves machinability. In Ecobras, the addition of silicon forms κ and γ layers, which helps to fragment chips and enhance machinability. ● High strength comparable to stainless steel The tensile strength of Ecobras is 600 N/mm². It is a high-strength material comparable to stainless steel SUS304, with 1.4 times the strength of conventional brass materials. This allows for cost reduction through thinner and more compact products. ● Solves dezincification corrosion issues Ecobras has a low zinc content in the alloy, and the absence of electrochemically noble β phase in the matrix prevents dezincification corrosion. ● Solves stress corrosion cracking issues The reduction of zinc content, along with the addition of silicon, effectively addresses the problem of stress corrosion cracking. ● Excellent hot forgeability (equivalent to forging brass C3771) ● Superior solder wetting, brazing, and plating properties.

Electroformed flat pin gate bush, nickel alloy

The flat-shaped gate improves cutting and fluidity. It can contribute to quality stability and cost reduction.

1. The gate cut is good, and since the gate area does not decrease, the fluidity (moldability) hardly changes, and there is little change in appearance (such as with texture). 2. Made of nickel alloy electroformed material with a mirror finish on the inner surface, and the inner surface hardness is also HRC55-60, making it durable and wear-resistant. 3. It is strong against gas and has excellent corrosion resistance. 4. Compared to iron-based gate bushes, it has a high thermal conductivity, and because the inner surface is a mirror finish, the slope can be minimized, leading to a reduction in the molding cycle.

Solve wear, chipping, and corrosion during processing of electrical steel sheets! Everloy carbide alloy.

Mold parts that are resistant to wear and chipping due to adhesion of electrical steel plates, chipping from the impact of pressing, and corrosion from water-cutting wire processing!

Electromagnetic steel sheets are essential for motor cores, but we often hear about issues such as corrosion during processing and chipping or wear during pressing. **Problems during Electromagnetic Steel Sheet Processing** - Chipping due to impact during press processing - Wear and chipping caused by adhesion of the main component, iron - Corrosion from prolonged water-cut wire processing - Damage from discharge machining Everloy's "Super Hard Alloy EW Type and EX Type" are mold parts materials that can solve these problems during electromagnetic steel sheet processing. - **EW Type (for punching)** Compared to materials of the same hardness, it has a relatively high fracture toughness value, which allows for the prevention or improvement of cracks, chipping, and chipping without reducing hardness. It also has excellent corrosion resistance. - **EX Type (for riveting)** This material type is suitable for suppressing adhesion wear that occurs during the riveting process of electromagnetic steel sheets. For details on various physical properties, applications/case studies, and wear comparison examples, please download the PDF or contact us. ★ When inquiring, if you could provide information about your current issues or areas you would like to improve, our specialized staff will propose solutions. Please feel free to consult us about anything.

Achieving long lifespan of molding machine parts with carbide!

Everloy is a carbide manufacturer capable of providing a consistent production process from precision machining to the supply of mold parts made from super hard materials.

The introduction of heat-resistant and durable resin materials is advancing the resinization of metal parts. Some resins contain additives like glass fibers, which necessitate measures against early wear of parts and molds, as well as gas generation, issues that did not occur with conventional molding machines. We propose solutions to reduce the frequency of part replacements by replacing components with super hard materials. 【Features】 - We offer a lineup of super hard materials that excel in "wear resistance," "corrosion resistance," and "heat resistance." - We conduct thorough investigations and condition analyses to address the causes of short-lived parts. - We propose super hard materials tailored to specific applications and workpieces. Currently, we are providing materials that introduce case studies on solving issues related to mold parts. You can view them via "PDF Download."

Various characteristics of Silicorol B2 and Silicorol D.

We are compiling data primarily on corrosion-resistant alloys and heat-resistant alloys, including chemical composition and mechanical properties!

"Silicoroy B2" and "Silicoroy D" are high-silicon stainless steels that contain a large amount of Si (silicon) as one of their chemical components. "Silicoroy B2" is a duplex stainless steel (austenitic-ferritic) that has higher strength than austenitic stainless steels and possesses corrosion resistance equivalent to or greater than SUS316. On the other hand, "Silicoroy D" is an austenitic stainless steel with hot strength equivalent to SUS310S. This document compiles data primarily on corrosion-resistant alloys and heat-resistant alloys, and we hope it will assist you in your development efforts. [Contents (partial)] ■ Introduction ■ Example of chemical composition ■ Example of mechanical properties ■ Example of physical properties ■ Example of microscopic structure *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
