"CRAFTMAN WALL" is a non-combustible wall material that combines the realistic wood texture of natural solid veneer with antique (special) processing, offering a genuine tactile experience. It is composed of volcanic glass multilayer board + natural solid veneer + antique surface processing (available in unpainted), and has obtained the non-combustible certification number NM-1616 from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism as a painted product. "Mukufunen" is a non-combustible and quasi-non-combustible wood material made from pure cypress and cedar from Yoshino, which has also received certification from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. It achieves the thinnest levels of non-combustible materials with a thickness of 12mm for non-combustible wood and 10mm for quasi-non-combustible wood. 《Cost Reduction through In-House Manufacturing》 Our company, a sawmill with over 100 years of history, carries out all processes in-house, from cutting timber from logs to injecting fire retardant chemicals, drying, and processing. We would like to introduce a case where our timber was supplied for the construction of SHOCHIKUCHO HOUSE. For the external louver materials, "Hinoki Kamiko" was used, and for the exterior wall materials, "Hinoki Mu-Kami" was adopted. We discussed multiple times about the type of architecture being created and the commitment to the materials, considering the properties and performance of Hinoki while exploring aesthetic presentation. "What is flame-retardant plywood?" "Flame-retardant plywood" is plywood that has been treated with flame-retardant agents to make it non-combustible. It is certified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism as "non-combustible and quasi-non-combustible wood." The main ingredient of the flame-retardant agent used is ammonium sulfate. It has passed safety tests and is harmless to humans and the environment.
