Founded in 1947 (Showa 22) as a custom furniture manufacturer, Tokiwa Sangyo Co., Ltd. has been promoting the introduction of world-class advanced equipment and utilizing the advanced technology it has accumulated to build a high level of trust, primarily in the office furniture industry. We take pride in the fact that this high level of trust has been achieved as a result of our founding principle that "the growth of individuals leads to the growth of the company" and "selling sincerity over products." Since 1998 (Heisei 10), Tokiwa Sangyo has launched the Harmonic House store, which considers the environment and safety, and has started the "100-Year Furniture Initiative: House of Tree" project. In the manufacturing sector, we obtained ISO 14001 certification in 2004 (Heisei 16) and are working towards our environmental policy goal of becoming "a company with the world's highest standards of low environmental impact." Moving forward, we will continue to serve as a "comfortable space support company," using this as our measure of judgment to lay the foundation for humanity 1,000 years from now, and through the acquisition of exceptional technologies not found in other companies, we will assist in realizing a bright, truly rich, and cultural society.
